Professor Linda Luxon trained in General Medicine and Neurology at St Thomas’ Hospital and Queen Square and additionally in Neuro-otology at University of California at Los Angeles.

She was appointed Consultant Physician at Queen Square in 1980 and to the Chair of Audiovestibular Medicine at the University of London, based at UCL, in 1991.

She is Past President of the British Society of Audiology, the British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians and the European Federation of Audiological Societies.

Professor Luxon is currently Department of Health National Clinical Advisor in Audiology and Vestibular Disorders; Advisor on Audiology to MOD interim Expert Medical Group and Treasurer,  Royal College of Physicians.
